why can’t we feel others pain - why aren’t we all that we should be

why have we devolved - are we too blind to see

what is the answer - why can’t we share

how can we save us - why can’t we care

why can’t we do right - why can’t we all care

why can’t we teach good - why can’t we all share

why can’t we help us all - why can’t we all be family

why can’t we all love - be what we should be
